SMBC WATCHWORD AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The essential purpose of SMBC is to bring glory to God. We exist to see the name of Jesus Christ honoured, and see His Kingdom come in ever increased fullness not only in the UK but throughout the world. We seek to do that in particular by helping to equip Christians to more effectively carry out the work of the Ministry (Eph 4:11-14).

Our goal is to provide training for Christian leaders, potential leaders and workers that are academically sound, comprehensive in nature, anointed by the Holy Spirit, practically applied and taught by Christian leaders whose proven Ministry enables them to teach with authority and expertise. God is moving in a real spiritual explosion around the world today and the church has evidence of New Life breaking forth in every realm. We feel a greater responsibility to help develop spiritual leadership in this unique hour of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We believe the world is about to witness the beginning of the greatest outpouring we have ever seen.

You can be a part of this and we can help you to be, as you give yourself to the study of God’s word and make yourself, a workman who does not need to be ashamed but correctly handles the word of truth. Our vision is to touch humanity in global outreach, manifesting Christ to all people who are searching for help.

SMBC centers on a strong combination of the Spirit and the word. Providing a spiritual based college with strong academic support to equip the students to attain and maintain the high calling of God for their lives. Our emphasis is to build a solid foundation by the teaching of the word, the demonstration of the spirit, the energizing force of prayer and the maturing of Christian character. The heart of the College beats with an emphatic desire for World Missions and Evangelism. The people of the world are hungry for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Contrary to what some people believe, there are still many nations who are yet to hear the Gospel message. Practical experience at SMBC will include involvement in a local church, street evangelism, children’s programme, and meeting by invitation, evangelism and missionary outreach
both at home and abroad. There will be an opportunity to join the SMBC Mission Team.

At SMBC, it is our utmost goal to train our students to rule from their position of authority in Jesus Christ and live out of a strong spirit, and thereby bless the world. Faith can get us there. The Holy Spirit will equip us to manifest the works of Jesus. Prayer will break every barrier as we step into the leading of the Holy Spirit to go to the Nations. We challenge you to give yourself to growing up into Christ, sit under rich, spirit-anointed staff and let your life be changed by the living word that you may successfully fill your place in the body of Christ at large.

Something Unique is happening in this generation, and the Holy Spirit is raising and gathering an army of
workers to bring the Gospel to this generation. SHALLOM MISSION BIBLE COLLEGE, IS ONE of the
ministries God has raised to help meet this challenge. SMBC is committed to the task of training workers and church leaders to complete the task of WORLD EVANGELIZATION in this generation and beyond.
